Oh man, it's been 21 days since my last post. My mind has not been into writing mode lately. I have been deep into some personal/secret projets during my off hours, and since I tend to disconnect myself from the world...I sometimes forget I have blog :)

A lot of ideas have been pooring down in my head lately, and I am still trying to figure out a way to actually slow down and process everything. I am working towards actually making something out of all these thoughts, which is what's been keeping me occupied and on the move. 

Anyways, I'm still around! As you can see, I am doing well, and I am healthy. The temperatures in Orlando right now are nearing the mid to high 60s daily with blue and sunny skies, while the evenings are quiet, slightly chilly, and cozy...can't ask for anything better this time of year!

Well, it has been long overdue. I have finally made the some of the required changes to the site, and udpated some content. I added the friends' galleries subsections, so send me your galleries if you want me to link them from here. I also added new content in the "My Car" section, and created a subjection for the history of my old car. This is really just clean up and maintenance.

Anyway,  next I plan on working on videos for the site, maybe some simple flash or something...who knows! We will see when I get for more time. I also added some RSS, so you can now get updates when I blog

Oh and I added a subdomain URL for my blog, so now,  you can reach my blog by directly typing - http://blog.thegzone.net/  -  That's it. Going to sleep now!

I mean...how hard can this be! It has been just about a year since my last post!. This is very sad. I know I said I would do a better job at keeping my site up to date than I have in the past. Obviously that has not worked out too well. I can't believe it. I easily spend 15 hours a day on a computer, and I can't even keep my blog/site up to date...I have time to do everything else and help everyone else, but I have no time for my own stuff sometimes. I really need to do a better job at it...and believe me...this time I am for real. I count of you guys (whoever reads this) to call me out on it if I keep slacking.

Anyways, a lot of things have been going on this past year (better yet, since the last time I blogged)...Work, Travels, immigration, family, friends, girlfriend, good times, new house, new car, new projects, new ideas, new businesses, new goals...I mean the list just goes on...and as of today, I will start being a blogger again!!!!

Yeah...I can't even make a phone call...Yeah...this is lame! I' ve had to use my cell phone quite a lot last month for work and random stuff so I am completely out! I have never got my monthly usage this high but this is a keeper...and since I dont want to pay overage fees, please do not call my cell phone for another few days! If you have my digits at work, use that, or email me. It is kinda funny when you think about it, I did not know I could hit it on the spot like that lol...let's hope my new minute cycle for this month kicks in soon

 

WZUP peeps...not much going on here...I've been slacking on my blog posting as usual, but thats no suprised right. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your summer as much as I did. I have been doing random stuff all summer. I started on a few personal projects as well, which I will talk about another time...But mainly work as been pretty crazy these past few months, and it still is, but you know what...I still love my job. We had to move out of our space due to an expired lease. We ended up working from home for about 6 weeks, then moving to a temp space for another 6 weeks. During that time, our new permanent location (which we have not fully moved into yet) was getting heat from the City and getting all sorts of permitting issues. We are getting closer everyday. Oh well...the good thing though is that it will be a really cool space...mindcomet style. My team and I (systems team) have been working out of the new location over seeing and building the new network infrastructure, setting up the server room, voip phone system, reorganizing our network, ip class range, hardware, software, inventory and all sorts of cool stuff. I'm having fun and learning a bunch as well. Anyway, that was my summer. Besides the rain, lightning and thunder, Orlando is still a fun place to be. Fall is coming...we shall see what that bring along.

Well after an 8 months drought, I am back to my blog. Give me a break okay...I've been busy. Other than that...I am sure you can noticed that the the G Zone has been upgraded quite some! The upgrade coming along nicely...I think! I have been working on this for about a month now, and I have to admit, it is taking a bit longer than I expected, but hey I got a day time job, so I can only work on this when I can't sleep at night. With all that has been going on at work lately, I am even surprised of the amount of energy I have to keep working on this. After I finished with all the layouts, modules and custom things that needed tweaks here and there, I had to update all the content, proof read everything and so on. At this point, the only things left are the very few logos and a few mods that need a final touch. I am hoping to open launch version 2.0 in the next week or so...hopefully. WZUP...not much here, only that is it 1:45AM on sunday night, or rather monday morning, and I am just about getting tired and ready to go to sleep. I took a 2 hour nap this afternoon because I did not sleep that great last night. Between the next door neighboor blasting music starting at 8AM saturday and sunday morning, and the upstairs idiots who let their kid run around starting 7AM, it is impossible to sleep and wake up in peace at any given time of the day. Besides that, everything else is good. My month of vacation finally ended and I returned to work last week. It was good to see everyone, and of course I was missed :). I expected my return week was going to be a breeze...which I thought it was until I submitted my time sheet for the week with 56 hours!!! (oh yea, and I had to deal with emergencies saturday and sunday) G, no wonder I am so tired, and on top of that with the imbeciles of neighboors that I have, I can't get any decent rest or quiet time...but anyway I will save the venting for later, for now, I dont have much time left until sun rise.{gallery}{/gallery}

Well I woke up at 8 this morning, walked to my computer room, and just sat around, and a did whole bunch of things at the same time as usual. Well I kinda got tired after maybe 3 hours, so I figured I would go workout around noon in order to sweat a little you know, get my body moving. I intended to do a few minutes of cardio, then maybe do some back exercises, but for some reason I was feeling pretty good today...so I started running on the treadmill...I was aiming for 15 minutes or so just to get a good heart rate going. Well after 25 minutes I was still running...for some reason, I could not stop. So I kept running, and running and running, until I realized it had been 80 minutes...and a good 9 miles...I was like wow, I never ran this much ever. Usually a good 30 minute run is all I need, so I never tried to run this much before. Somehow I could have kept going, but I usually only spend about 50 minutes in the gym, so I did some cool down walking, and left. Little did I know I was able to run for so long. And weirdly, it felt good, so I might be doing it again soon enough...So anyway, that was the highlight of my day, and now I ran out of things to say, so now I shall be on my way...wow I should throw a beat to that last sentence !!!

So I have been on leave for about a week now. I have just about 3 weeks left until I am legit to work again. There is not much to do since everyone has their own thing going on. There is not much to do during the day, besides the miles and miles of running I do everyday to keep myself occupied in the morning when I wake up, or the projects I try to work on, but can't find motivation because I have a migraine from being inside all damn day...And on top of that, I just became an infomertial junkie. The late hours go by, I keep staring at the tv, and a few times, I have come close to picking up that phone and ordering something. From Appliance Direct, to Susuki of Orlando and their 0 down and 99$ a month, to how to earn thousands of dollards is a matter of weeks, or even getting a set of 8 swiss army knives for 24$...I guess that's what happens when you know you dont have to wake up to go to work the next day. At least if I could drive places, it would not be so bad...oh well.

Well what do you know, I am still around. I know it has been 8 months, but hey gotta stay busy ya know. Anyway, a lot has been going on for the past 8 months. I left my job at Siemens, moved on to better thing with MindComet...where I interned back in 05, got into a car accident, got another tooth surgery (I must enjoy those), and planning a few big things in the near future...So yea, I've been keeping busy. Right now I am just chilling at home, on a forced vacation for about a month...26 days to be exact, gotta love the U.S Gov. So in the mean time, I plan to just lay low, sit back, relax, maybe hit the gym every so often, and work on some projects I have not been able to touch of a while. I am thinking about redesigning my website, changing a few things here there...We'll see.

Hello, how is everyone doing? I am doing simply bad. I had surgery on friday morning to get a tooth removed from my gum. I know, I know, it sounds painful, and you know what, it sure is. The right side of my face tripled in volume!! I look like I was punched about 8 times in my right jaw...it looks so bad, I am afraid of taking pictures of myself. I was on painkillers all weekend long...the drowsyness got me real good...my head was spinning and spinning. Evem sitting down or standing up was a task so I slept all weekend. Right now I am at work, and man, it is hard. I might just have to take the rest of the day off if it does not get any better. Anyway, back to work.

Hello all, thanks for checking my blog. I hope everyone is doing well. I am fine, just enjoying my weekend, relaxing...I just got back from a business trip in Pittsburh. It was a 7 day trip, but for the amount of hours worked, it really felt like a month. This was my first time going away for work. It was a really great experience. I had a great time, and got to know some of my coworkers a little better. We did not have much time to visit the city while we were there, but one thing I could say is for all I have seen of Pittsburgh, I would never live there, let alone go to visit again, until it was for business. The city just looks sad. It is, full of roads, back roads, mountains, tunnels, old buildings and so on. I was asking myself how people there looked forward to the next day. It puzzled me. working 15 hour days helped keep my mind off of this boring city. One thing I enjoyed was the food. The city has a good variety of restaurants such as italian, spanish, japanese and more. I do not usually eat out as much, but in this case, I had no choice. :) Everything was good, but I cannot say I didnt put on a few pounds. It was nothing major, but now that I am back, I am definately going back to my old habits...because eating out every meal is not quite satifying in after a while.

Well...its been 5 or 6 months since I was here...and the gzone is finaly back...I hope everyone has been doing well during all this time. Happy new year to everyone. I wish you all the best. I just moved into my new place...its nice, i like it. I have not had a single chance to update my site...but some major changes are to come in the coming weeks. Between work and relaxing activities...I have sort of been lazy at a few things...but who can blame me right. I am enjoying this time of my life. I am getting adjusted to the corporate life and planning a few things out for the future.

Well...i dont know how to put it, but its done. I just submitted my last final exam for this summer of 2005. I have been working my tail off this whole summer...this past year should I say, but it was for a good cause. Good times, bad times, we all find a way to get out of it. Next step...I dont know...4 weeks of vacation sound about right about now. I have not had a summer off in 4 years...Besides that, job hunting, working out, and straight up chilling. Hello again everyone, and thank you for checking my blog. I hope that you have enjoyed my album pictures from my trip to Canada this past month. I had fun while up there. It is too bad I only stayed for 3 days. I did not get a chance to see everyone I wanted to, but thats ok, there will always be another time. I am really glad that I got to spend some time with my family and the few old friends I was able to meet up with, I had not seen them in a long time. Other than that, Graduation is 6 days away, and my final exams started last week. It has been a hectic past couple of days. I have a few more to go, so I need to keep my head straight for a few more days. Today is sunday, July 31st. I have been up since 7am...finishing hw and so on, thats how much crazy the semester has been. Let me tell you, I never pictured my last semester to be this away. I see it as a good thing, because I am greatly learning from it. Anyway, I thought I would put a few words on here for anyone's reading pleasure. Not much else has been going on, besides the crazy Orlando weather...100 degrees one days, and crazy rain the next 5 days...it is about time it ends. Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was good. I did some catching up on some school stuff, ran some errands, went grocery shopping, and watched some movies. It has been a while since we have had nice weather for a whole weekend in Orlando, so I got to wash my car...something I do every weekend, but did not get to do for the past 8 weeks due to constant bad weather. Besides that, I am gettin ready for my last weeks in college. Yep, Graduation is just about 2 weeks away, so the last stretch of the summer semester is on. Wow...It has been a long time since I wrote here, a little over 2 months. Things have picked up again after the spring semester, so I did not find the time to update my site. 2 months ago, I started summer school. I am taking my last 13 hours, and my graduation date is August 6th. Congrats to me. 4 years in the making baby. Back in May, I started my internship as a System Admin at MindComet Corporation. I really like the job, the work environment, and the people that work there. I have learned a lot since I started out there. Anyway, over the past 3 weeks, I went to Washington DC, were I got to hang out with my old high school partnerz Koffi and Guillaume. It had been a long time since I have seen them. It felt good to see old friends. Right after that I went to canada for a few days to visit a couple of my old friends from there, my brother, sister, aunt, uncle, baby cousins, and grand mother. It was a short trip, but I got to spend a little bit of time with everyone. When I came back to orlando, I had a lot of catching up to do with school, but I am on top of that. I have taken some pictures while I was in canada. I will upload those to the photo section in the next couple of days. I am also making a few changes to the site, so check the Technology and updates sections if you would like see whats new.

Well this week is my spring break. So far, have I have been relaxing and resting. I have been mostly working out, eating healthy, watching movies, and hanging out with my peeps. I may end up at the beach sometime during the week if the weather allows it. I hate driving my car in the rain, hehe yea I m picky like that. I guess that comes with driving a white car. We have had showers for the past couple of weeks...It is actually raining right now, so I figured i would get ahead on some school work...I m taking a break right now, so I thought I would update this section. Whats going on everyone? I hope things are going well for all of you. I m doing good. I am just tired. This semester is seriously busy, I am constantly on the go...assignments, programs, papers, readings, exams...all this already 5 days a week and no time to rest during the weekend...and we have not even reached midterms yet! Man I did not think it was going to be this crazy, but hey, I guess I have my right to complain. I been so busy, I have not even worked out in 6 weeks; and we are only getting deeper into the semester. I am pretty tired at this perticular moment, but I can't rest yet...So I shall get back to my studying. Everyone enjoy the rest of your busy week.
