The 411 - That’s my name! Most people can't say it right (unless you speak French); those who do simply call me Gilles and everyone else just calls me G. My nickname is gzone or the gzone because thats just where I tend to be...in the gzone. I'm from West Africa, originally from Benin, but I was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal. I have a B.S in Information Technology and a minor in Management Information Systems From The University of Central Florida. I work at MindComet as a Systems Engineer.

Background - I currently live in Orlando, Florida. I grew up in different places within Africa, Canada, and The U.S.A during my teenage years. I have been around many different cultures, and I learned to adapt to each environment. This is gift I have received at a very young age, and I am thankful for it. I fluently speak French and English. I do not speak as much French as I used to, but I am doing my best to keep it as an asset.

Technology - I enjoy behing hands on with computer hardware. On the software side, anything from Mac OS X to Windows, Linux, or Unix easily captures my attention. I enjoy networking, troubleshooting, scripting, learning new Content Management Systems, and trying to keep up with the latest technology trends.

Business - I offer various consulting and freelance services , and I am all about new ideas, as well as research and development. Based on availablity, I sometimes take on freelance work, or pass it along to my industry friends, or my network as some may say.

Health and Fitness - I workout 3 to 5 times a week at LA Fitness, and I enjoy it very much. I grew up playing soccer (I am a lefty), but I mostly play basketball on my off time. I do play racquetball, so if you need a partner, drop me a line.

Hobbies - I like mechanics, and cars. I have always been a hands-on type of person, and I have done a lot of "Do it yourself" projects. Check out the "My Car" section...and see for yourself. Some of my other hobbies include cooking, interior design, "Do it yourself" home and techy projects, console gaming (tha_gzone is my PS3 handle), and of course lounging at home sipping on Appletinis and eating costco party mix snacks!

Fun - I am an outgoing person. Maybe not as much as I used to, but I think that comes with age and wisdom. Weekly outtings include trendy and contemporaty bars, lounges, and chill spots where the music and the DJs are kind to the ears. I enjoy spending time at home with my girlfriend. I occasionally host a few friends at home and enjoy a good bottle of wine and some laughs.
